CHS Athletics is committed to developing student-athletes who pursue Christ-like excellence in skill, character, discipline and community through competition. Our coaches are Godly mentors pouring their knowledge of sport and life into their teams.

Over 70% of our students participate in at least one of our teams but many of our students are multi-sport athletes. Our programs are focused on mentoring and building character through athletics, and our coaching staff focuses on the education and development of spirit, mind and body.  Our core values are:

  • Honoring Christ
  • Discipline
  • Service
  • Commitment to Excellence
  • Building community

Lower school: our Junior Kingsmen program teaches the basics of sports including skills, team work, fitness and coordination.

Middle school: we offer an interscholastic program to allow our students to experience and develop their God-given talents in athletics with a focus on skill development and teamwork.

High school: we work to maximize the potential of our student athletes in sports; competing against our opponents, including some of the top private schools in New England.

In Students' Words

"Athletics here have made my high school experience unforgettable. I love being on a team, working together with my teammates, and competing for a common goal. I have learned so much from my experience as an athlete such as striving for excellence in all that I do, learning to work with others, having confidence, and how to be a leader to my teammates. Athletics at CHS have helped develop me as an athlete as well as a person and I'm thankful for the opportunity to have been involved in this program."

"I am beyond thankful for the opportunity to participate in athletics at CHS. I have learned so many invaluable lessons, made so many great friendships, and been able to use the gifts that God has given me to glorify Him. The coaches genuinely want the best for their players, and work to cultivate a special community in which athletes feel valued and inspired."

"The special thing about CHS athletics is that you feel that you are representing the whole CHS community down to the kindergartener and his/her family. When you are younger you grow up wanting to be a part of the varsity team and when you get there, you feel very accomplished and you can reflect on your path from fantastic sports to middle school to eventually varsity."
